Roland HD-1...look it up

So I just went out this weekend and spent $800 that I did not have.

But it's ok cause I used my mom's credit card.

Ok, explanation: I went out and bought myself a new electronic drumset - the Roland HD-1.

My folks said I could only have 1 drum set at a time so I'm putting up my Pearl Export Series 6-piece set on Craigslist. Sad times.

Anywho:

So if I haven't told y'all already, I've been accepted to Saint Mary's University and the University of the Incarnate Word. I think I'm gonna go with SMU. Will be registering for Sociology and Criminology. Should be fun.

Insurance is a bitch. Always has been. Always will be. So from now til I get back to Amherst, I won't be on insurance. It's more hassle than it's worth. As for the hospital situation, Cooley Dickinson is trying to work it out with the insurance company. I might not have to pay the full bill...woot!!

So I talked to Dean Lieber and he says I just have to take a couple of classes this summer and they'll let me back in.
I've already applied to 3 colleges for the summer. Let's hope nothing goes amiss this time around.

Winding Down

As we follow the Adventures of the Application Process Revisited we find Lily out of school.
No one would accept her. =/
Now she must get in contact with Dean Lieber and see if she's still worthy of Amherst next semester.

Sad times.

Dean Lieber's Bane

Dean Lieber has finally met his match - the cold shoulder.
A&M is ignoring him, not returning calls...that sort of thing. He recommends I apply to Saint Mary's University instead. So I just did. Going to call them tomorrow to explain stuff before they have a chance to fuck me over as well. Hope it's not too late.

Who knew the cold shoulder actually worked? I've been using the same method in paying my bills with surprisingly different results.

iPhone!!!

So my 21st is coming up this Friday and my mom tells me I'm getting an iPhone.
WOOOT!!!

Here comes Jesus! Everybody hide and yell Happy Birthday!

It is now officially Christmas here in San Antonio.
I want to wish everyone a great one. I wasn't really in the Christmas mood this year. Plus I was broke so no gift giving for me. But I was quickly jolted into the mood when my parents presented me with my Christmas present of $140. They stuck it at the bottom of a huge bag with lots of decorative paper and as they handed it to me they said, "Careful, don't drop it...it's fragile."
They later revealed to me that they had meant to give me $150 but couldn't find a ten-bill so they said "Fuck it, Merry Christmas!".
I also got a pretty dragon-fly necklace from my uncle and a coin purse from my little cousins. My sister, who was too broke to buy gifts, wrote a poem for the family. Every member had their verse in the poem which was quite sweet but my part was a little lacking I think:

Lily: Oh lily lily lily.
lily lily lily lily.....lily.

That was it. And she said it in such a tone as "What the hell can I say about you? You're so fucked up....lily lily lily.
I gave my little cousins a couple of baseball gloves and balls. I can't wait to take them to the park and break 'em in - both the gloves and the girls. They're scared of the ball =/

Admission Impossible

I sent an email to Dean Lieber explaining my situation. He has offered to try calling A&M and see what can be done about my situation. I just sent him the number and we'll see what happens next.
